3rd Light Digital Media was conceived in December, 2001 and officially formed in 2002. The company is now owned and operated by two very talented individuals with different backgrounds.

 Andrew Tokuda, Partner / Producer
A renaissance guy, Andrew (or Droo) has worked in many areas of audio and visual production. He has an extensive background in audio engineering, video production and post-production, digital media such as CD-ROMs, Internet video, and DVD.
He is involved in all aspects of 3rd Light Digital Media, but specializes in video and audio post production, motion graphics design, DVD authoring and Internet video. Audio and video is Andrew's passion and devotes many hours to learning and understanding both the creative and technical aspects of the field.

 Vanessa J. Martinez, Partner / Producer
Vanessa migrated to San Francisco from Denver, Colorado to attend the Academy of Art University and obtained a BFA in Motion Pictures and Video. She has spent over a decade creating films and videos not only to educate and entertain, but also to enlighten audiences with new perspectives in technology.
Although she expresses her artistic passion and talent in many forms from fine-art to digital media, her driving forces are writing, directing, and photography. She is involved in all aspects of the company but specializes in pre-production and production.
